La Bestia Deportiva se puso en contacto con Gast\u00f3n Mazzacane, actual dirigente de la A.C.T.C. y ex piloto de F\u00f3rmula 1. Hasta la fecha sigue siendo el \u00faltimo volante argentino que nos represent\u00f3 en la m\u00e1xima categor\u00eda. Debut\u00f3 en el Gran Premio de Australia del a\u00f1o 2000 conduciendo para la escuder\u00eda italiana Minardi hace ya 16 a\u00f1os. Al a\u00f1o siguiente continu\u00f3 como piloto del equipo Prost, pero a mitad de temporada concluy\u00f3 su participaci\u00f3n en la categor\u00eda reina del deporte motor.
